Cool! Safe travels!
Am seriously hoping “Chile” really means Easter Island and that “South Africa” really means Cape Town.
Otherwise, you’re gonna get an earful. Don’t make me go all Kung Fu on you in front of people.
Quite the itinerary! South America seems to be the place to go these days.
You’re well-timed to watch the cricket world cup from India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in Feb-March!
Looks great man! I can possibly arrange a place to crash in santiago, chile if your looking. lookin forward to following you internet stylee
Looks like a great route – very similar to mine actually, so I WOULD say that
The South American leg might be a little rushed IMHO. That’s a lot of area to cover in three months!
I’m curious, why are you avoiding Honduras?
At some point, you should tell us where you are staying exactly. I might be suddenly inclined to send you something awesome and nowhere to send it.
@Jena: We’ll see. I’d hate to incur your wrath.
@Candice: Yeah, it’s probably a bit too ambitious. There’s a decent chance I’ll just decide that Buenos Aires is the perfect city and ditch the rest.
@Claire: I’ll keep that in mind! (You do realize that you are responsible for my introduction to the sport…)
@Robin: Thanks dude! I’ll let you know when I get things a bit more nailed-down.
@rebeccius: I concur. I’m sure I’ll end up slowing down once I’m down there. And I’m not avoiding Honduras- I just chose a route that didn’t happen to include it. Can’t do it all!
@AM I won’t know exactly where I’m staying until I walk through the door… That’s kind of the point. When I get old and start booking cruises, I’ll be sure to forward you a copy of my itinerary and shuffleboard schedule (don’t hold your breath).
Hey, it looks like we have the same basic itinerary!
I’m starting in Peru in July, then heading on to Bolivia, Chile and Argentina, over to South Africa, working my way up the east coast, flying to India, then hopping around Southeast Asia.
you know what’s missing from that itinerary? that’s right…australia
Hey Josh! I just returned from Honduras this weekend. I spent about a week there visiting Copan, Lago de Yajoa & Comayagua. It was a chanllenge and it had it’s ups and downs but I really enjoyed it. My favorite part of the trip was visiting a Maya-Chorti village up in the mountains. I think you should visit since you’ll be in Central America anyway.
Monica: You’re not the first person to recommend Honduras; I’m thinking I might have to check it out! BTW: Your Site is awesome!
You just have your couch ready, Kyle.
Hi Maggie. That’s a great itinerary! As I said, mine is pretty flexible, so maybe we’ll run into each other!
Good luck with your adventure.
Thanks Ben!
oh wow, i completely missed this. I will dig up some tips for peru/chile/bolivia and vietnam/cambodia (Tip no 1: don’t miss Laos – I liked that place best!) and would like to trade them for some tips on africa as soon as you’re back
If you checkthis on the road, let me know when you get to Ecuador.
